The Auditorium and Congress Center Infanta Doña Elena hosted this weekend the II Jornada Mi vida en tus manos, organized by Grupo Alpa, Ambulorca and the City of Eagles;
A contest that last year was about cardiopulmonary resuscitation on this occasion has opened its theme to first aid techniques or humanitarian and social proposals that impact on the importance that acquires our attitude when we witness or are aware of a situation that puts in Risk one or more lives.
Throughout the day there were colloquiums, performances, workshops and a day of blood donation and information on the donation of marrow coordinated by the Regional Hemodonation Center;
All with the gold medal of the awards ceremony of the National Short Film Contest, included during the day in which they were present, among others, Vicente Ruiz, deputy mayor of the City of Eagles;
Lucía Hernández, Councilor for Culture;
Fernando Pérez, manager of Grupo Alpa;
Or Andrés García, instructor of the National CPR Plan.
During the gala, led by Salvador Serrano and Maria Casal, the organizers highlighted the collaboration of the City Council of Eagles "who from the beginning bet on this project."
Finally were the shorts "Flee", "Air" and "Values" that were made with first, second and third prize respectively.
In the category of Express Short Film Competition, a novelty included this year, "Selfie" was proclaimed winner in the free category and Carlos V School in the Educational Center.
Two honorary awards were also given during the night, which were handed over to the Civil Guard and, posthumously, to Pablo Ráez.
