The mayor of Culture, Lucía Hernández, and the director of the Auditorium and Conference Center Infanta Elena Elena, Ramon Roman, presented yesterday the cultural program for the months of May and June that, Hernández said, "will have as main protagonists the music and the theater".
In the theater section, programming has two aspects;
On the one hand professional theater in which a clear commitment to quality has been developed with works such as Reina Juana performed by Concha Velasco (May 28) or Heroes by Juan Gea, Luis Varela and Iñaki Miramón (June 17) and, On the other hand, the local theater with which it was sought - assured the mayor - "to offer space the numerous fans to the scenic arts with which the municipality has."
Within this last section, the Teatringos de Yampo Teatro and Imagine (May 28) will be continued for the children, as well as the second edition of the Joven Imagine Theater Cycle "with which it intends to give way to the school theater that Has been developing in the different educational centers of the town, "Roman said.
The theatrical program will be completed with a sample by Te & D on June 30th.
Within the musical section, Promúsica will continue to play a major role in the program of the Auditorium (Duo Cracov on May 7, Elche Symphony Orchestra on the 19th of the same month, and Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia on June 23) .
On June 1, IES Europe will offer its traditional end-of-course concert in which all the students of the center participate and that "supposes a bet by the culture of all the teachers of the center", assured the mayor of the area.
They will close the program of the two-month components of the Eagles Jazz Band with a concert on June 30.
