The area popularly known as "Cementerio Viejo", which includes Democracia streets.
Fraternity, Happiness, Coexistence, Prosperity, Manuel Azaña and Juan Mula, all of them bordering the Águilas Norte Health Center, will be the object of an improvement action with which it is mainly intended "to solve a problem with rainwater that Have been affecting the streets of the town for many years ", according to the mayor of Town Planning and Finance, Tomás Consentino.
For this reason, the Municipal Plenary of Eagles unanimously approved, in an extraordinary session, the inclusion of these actions, within the Regional Plan for the Dynamization of Works and Municipal Services of 2017. This is the renovation of the pavement of roadways with agglomerate Asphaltic and the renewal of the potable water network in Avenida Democracia and streets Fraternity, Happiness, Coexistence and Prosperity.
It also includes the construction of a stormwater collector and its corresponding scuppers, the renovation of the sewage system and the renovation of the potable water network in Manuel Azaña and Juan Mula streets.
The total amount of the works, which will have a term of execution of three months from the signing of the statute of verification, amounts to 244,476 euros, contributed by the Autonomous Community and the City of Eagles
