Father Jesús del Prendimiento and Prayer in the Garden participated yesterday in the solidarity movement that, as is customary at this time, is celebrated with the aim of collecting food for Caritas.
This symbolic act, which also allows to see closely the work carried out by the costaleros under the throne, since it is discovered and not covered as usual in the procession, was attended by the older brothers of both brotherhoods, José Cáceres and Lucía Gabarrón, as well as the mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno.
During the whole tour, which ran from the church of Carmen to the headquarters of Cáritas, and under the slogan ¡Echanos tus kilos!
The costaleros were collecting the food that they were delivering to them and that finally they were deposited in Cáritas.
