The Civil Guard arrests five young people for the violent assault on an Águilas home (07/03/2017)

Those arrested, two of them minors, are allegedly charged with the crime of robbery with violence and intimidation and belonging to a criminal organization

One of the detainees maintained a friendly relationship with the resident of the house and, presumably, facilitated access to the domicile of the rest of detainees

They beat the victim and kept her handcuffed while they stole objects of little value

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation aimed at locating and arresting the perpetrators of a robbery with violence and intimidation, committed in an guilas home, which has resulted in the arrest of five young people, two of them minors Of age, as alleged perpetrators of crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation and belonging to a criminal organization.

The victim has been arrested as alleged perpetrator of drug trafficking.

The investigation began at the end of last November when the Civil Guard was alerted, through the alarm system of an address, of an incident for a possible robbery.

A patrol of the Corps moved to the place, an apartment located in an urbanization of the municipality whose door of access was open.

Inside was a half-naked young man, bound with flanges and American tape and with signs of being beaten.

Emergency medical services were immediately requested, which carried out a first health care and transferred to Hospital Rafael Mndez de Lorca, with multiple wounds and bruises.

The Civil Guard found out that the events took place around seven in the afternoon when the victim, a 25-year-old girl who shared a floor with another girl who was not at home at the time, opened the door of his Housing a friend he had left with.

Then three hooded men, who were hiding in the landing of the stairs, approached with great violence to the two young people and obtained forcible access to the property.

They then beat the resident of the house with metal poles and American fists, while the other young man, who was also a minor, and who also attacked, was able to escape and flee the apartment.

The three assailants registered all the housing, but only managed to subtract some effects of low value, due to the activation of the alarm and the rapid arrival to the urbanization of the agents of the Civil Guard and the Local Police of the municipality, which precipitated their flight.

From that moment, the first investigations were initiated to gather the necessary information to clarify the fact and to obtain indications of the criminal scene, through the corresponding ocular inspection.

From the outset, the investigators' attention was drawn to the fact that the minor, a friend of the victim, was able to escape from the aggressors, and did not immediately alert the Civil Guard of what was happening there, apologizing for contradictory versions.

This information made suspicion that there could be a preliminary planning between the minor, supposed friend of the victim, and the three hooded who materialized the aggression.

The investigations carried out around this minor showed that he knew the daily routines of the victim and his alleged connection with drug trafficking, so it was assumed that the robbery would be aimed at the subtraction of drugs or money, derived from the sale of Narcotic substances.

Premeditated strategy to assault the house

The Civil Guard identified another alleged minor of the plan's ideologist who allegedly organized the development of the assault, so that it would be the friend of the victim who would go to the home to visit him, taking advantage of the absence of the roommate, And would facilitate access to perpetrators of the assault and robbery.

When the trio of hooded men acceded to the house, they pretended a false aggression to this minor, who fled of the place while these attacked and maniataban to the victim to commit the robbery.

The end of the plot was the distribution of the 'booty' drug and money between the minor who, presumably, devised the robbery, the false friend of the victim and the three assailants.

The plan was unsuccessful when the home alarm system was activated and agents appeared, leaving the minor with a difficult alibi because he had not immediately alerted police forces.

The operation 'PLAQUÉ' has culminated recently, with the dismantling of a criminal group, whose five members two minors and three young people of Spanish and Lithuanian nationality have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of robbery with violence and belonging to a criminal organization.

In addition, as a result of the investigation carried out regarding the alleged possession and distribution of narcotic substances in the domicile of the investigation, the Civil Guard has detained a sixth person (the victim of the robbery), as alleged perpetrator of traffic crime drug.

The arrested and the investigations have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 4 of Lorca and the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Murcia.
