City Council and Counseling sign an agreement for home help to dependent persons (07/03/2017)

The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the counselor for Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, have signed a collaboration agreement for the maintenance of home help for dependent people with a funding of 240,863 euros.

This service provides professional care to dependent persons in their homes as well as continuous monitoring by municipal social services.

In Eagles will be a total of 85 dependent people who will be able to benefit from this service seeing satisfied their domestic needs as well as the personal attention and accomplishment of activities of daily life.

The first aquiline mayor stressed that "the highlight of this agreement is that it will allow a large number of aquiline people to receive the attention they need and also do it in their own homes."

For her part, the counselor explained that "Águilas is the first City Council to join this year to the proposal of the Ministry to establish framework cooperation agreements."

It should be noted that after the agreement, the first aquiline councilor and the counselor of Family and Equality of Opportunities have visited one of the 85 users who will benefit from the new service of Home Help in the municipality.
