Two local roads continue to be cut as a result of damage caused by the rains (18/12/2016)

Two roads of Aguilas, concretely the one of the Cocón and the one that unites the Mayorals with the Cuesta de Gos, remain closed to the traffic as a consequence of the damages caused by the intense rains that from yesterday strike to the municipality.

In the first of them, which unites Aguilas with the Cocón, they are already working so that it can be opened to the circulation during this same afternoon.

The mayor of Aguilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, has traveled to the place to know firsthand the situation and has done so, among others, by the Minister of Fomento, Pedro Rivera.

Likewise, members of the Government Team are located in different parts of the town supervising an emergency device in which a large number of personnel of the security and emergency bodies as well as personnel of cleaning and maintenance participated;

All of them wanted to thank the first aquiline edile "the impeccable work they have done all weekend and they are still doing."

Tomorrow, at nine o'clock in the morning, it is planned to hold a Local Emergency Board with the objective of assessing all the incidents that the storm this weekend has caused.

Águilas continues on orange alert for rains, winds and coastal phenomena until 00.00 hours on Monday.
