The City Council of Águilas, through the Department of Health, has begun a campaign to de-ration the sewerage network that began last Monday and will continue for the next three weeks extending to all urban centers of the municipality of Aguilas .
The objective of this action - assured the mayor of Health, Rosalía Casado - is to develop a crash plan that works as a complement to the actions that, in specific areas and according to the specific needs, are carried out periodically once per week.
"This general disarratization of the whole municipality, together with specific actions, seeks to control and prevent the proliferation of rodents," said the mayor.
To develop this action has divided the municipality into areas beginning the process in the areas farthest from the urban center.
Subsequently the disinfection works will be extended to the districts and areas farthest from the urban area.
From the Department of Health have reminded the public about the importance of these actions are completed with public awareness.
"It is fundamental that the garbage collection schedules are respected and that garbage is prevented from being deposited on the public highway, as this type of uncivil attitude favors the appearance of rodents and insects in our municipality."
