The mayor of Equality of the City of Eagles, Isabel Maria Torrente, and the coach of the Municipal Center for Women, Antonia Reche, have presented the program of events to be held in the municipality on the occasion of the celebration, next November 25 , Of the International Day Against Gender Violence.
The activities are mainly focused on prevention, which is why many of them will be carried out in schools and institutes in the locality.
Thus, from tomorrow and until the same 25 the students of 4 ° of Primary will be to which the theater work "The Colors" is directed.
Starting next week, the Pepín theater workshop will be started for 6th grade students.
For high school students, a contest of short films has been proposed under the title Short with violence, whose winning piece will be exposed on Thursday 24 at 6 pm at the Casa de la Cultura Francisco Rabal.
This program of activities will be complemented by the events that will take place on the 25th, coinciding with the International Day against Gender Violence, which will consist of reading a manifesto (at 12 o'clock at the door of the Town Hall) and the Presentation of the group "Painting the words" of the association AMIA (Independent Women of Eagles), which will take place at 19 hours in the House of Culture Francisco Rabal.
Later, at 7.30 pm, the play will take place at the "Fénix Society" where AMIA, the Association of Housewives and the group Rompe y Crea will collaborate.
The programming of the Department of Equality will be completed with the Self-Defense Techniques Workshop given by Local Police Felipe Mula, which will take place on 29 and 30 November and 2 December.
