The mayor highlighted the magnificent work of seconded staff to Copla 2016 Plan (24/08/2016)

The mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, has announced this morning during a visit to the troops who are participating in the Plan Surveillance and Rescue Beaches and Rescue at Sea (COPLA) data concerning interventions in the town in the period between July 2 and August 15.

A figure that, in the case of assistance in beaches, stood at 1,039, which must be added 95 rescue swimmers;

3 rescue boats;

18 evacuations beach;

1,169 preventive measures on land and on ships 103;

76 performances by the medical team fast intervention vehicle;

161 assists basic life support;

and 372 bath adapted for people with mobility problems.

The mayor has been present, by the Minister of Presidency, Maria Dolores Pagán, the regional vice president of Red Cross, Gabriel Motorcycles, the mayor of Public Safety, Vicente Ruiz, and other members of the local and regional administration, in a mock maritime rescue stressed that "these figures show the great work of all forces that are part of Copla Plan. Their dedication and effort- referred Moreno- allow daily aquiline and visitors can enjoy relax on our beaches ".

The head of the hawkish government has made a specific reference to "all aid workers of the Red Cross who are daily on the beaches in the summer, that the weather was particularly complicated, have played their work with professionalism;. The day was completed with a visit to the base of Civil Protection and Fire Station in the town.
