The Symphony Orchestra of the Region offers the last concert of the season in the cycle'Promúsica' Eagles (23/06/2016)

The Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Spokesman offers tomorrow is the last concert of the season in the cycle 'Promúsica' Eagles, in the Auditorium Infanta Elena of the town.

Murcia training, under the baton of maestro Mario Ortuño, start playing 'The Swan of Tuonela, "Sibelius and continue with the Concerto for viola and clarinet, Max Bruch, who will solo the violist Alicia Salas and clarinetist Angel F. Lopez.

Then will offer 'Italian Capriccio' by Tchaikovsky, and will conclude the evening with 'Night on Bald Mountain', one of the most popular Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky works.

The general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones, said "the success of the orchestra" throughout the concert season in the aquiline auditorium, and recalled that "has filled the mark with programs very attractive and performances in which they have participated soloists and directors ".

Mario Ortuño, director

Mario Ortuño is a natural young musician Catral (Alicante) that has developed an intense career as a saxophonist.

As a soloist he has participated in several editions of the Contest interpretation of the Vega Baja, where he won first prize in solo category in 2003 and 2005.

He began directing with 17 years in the youth band SUM 'La Constancia' of Catral, under the tutelage of first teacher, Leonardo Martinez Cayuelas.

Later, he was a disciple of maestro Manuel Hernández Silva, director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Malaga.

He has led the Chamber Orchestra of the University of Murcia, Cordoba Symphony Orchestra, City of Elche Symphony Orchestra and Youth Orchestra of Andalusia, among others.

He has been director of the band and music school Jumillano Association Friends of Music since (November 2008 to October 2015), with which he recorded the CD 'Music and harmony cancer' with music composers Oscar Navarro and Roque Banos.

He currently teaches saxophone classroom Conservatory of SUM 'La Constancia' of Catral where this work develops over ten years.

Since September 2014 he is owner and director of the music school Music Group Beniaján band.
