The Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena hosted last weekend the conference the Glorioso, under Captain Agustin Fernandez Pacheco.
During the event, which also it served as the introduction to the book of the same name, Pacheco made a journey through the history of one of the great feats of the Spanish Armada starring this ship that the mid-eighteenth century started from Veracruz with the mission of carrying deliver flows from American soil.
The book and the lecture organized by the Delegation of Defense in the region of Murcia and which was attended by the Councillor for Finance, Tomas Cosentino, is, as told Captain Pacheco himself, "the result of over two years thorough investigation in which I have had the collaboration of scholars, professors, historians and experts in navigation, naval engineering and weapons, to name a few specialties. "
