Serpentine rose yesterday with the Golden Eagle a trophy donated by the City Council of the town that rewards the best of all the Carnival and the components of this troupe received excited hands of the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno.
The awards ceremony was past midnight early in the morning after a spectacular burning of Don Carnal in which Doña Lent, after condemning the purifying fire to all the carnival, it was in charge of lighting the fuse of a firework display ;
To round off a day of impressive parade in which the 38 participating clubs gave the best of themselves, making clear why the hawk party deserves the recognition of International Tourist Interest.
