"We look for solutions instead of complaining" (31/10/2020)

| We interview Gerardo Caíña González | Gerardo has a degree in Political Science and Public Administration and a Master's in Corporate Social Responsibility.

In addition to this, he has completed a Postgraduate Degree as Personal Trainer, Bodybuilding Monitor and Nutritional Advisor. He is currently autonomous and Manager of his own Personal Training Center and President of the Asociación Responsabilidad Social Aguileña. What is the Presiding AssociationWe are a group of people who want to collaborate in contributing ideas to improve the town in which we live.

Our main task is to make proposals for continuous improvement to the Public Administration and try to make politicians and citizens more responsible.

We do not want posturing policies. We deal with all social issues and sectors.

For example, we have a very active group of Self-Employed and we provide the Coronavirus Test at a cost price so that you can perform it yourself at home or work. But due to the current and new State of Alarm we are going to stop bringing them because it could be the case that the Government intervenes all the sanitary products (as in the first State of Alarm) or that we cannot leave the house and then not be able to carry out our work correctly.Do you think the correct measures are being taken?Assuming that governing well is difficult, you can always do better.

The divisions make the situation worse, we must all row in the same direction.

And if we believe that something is not right, or can be done better, we try to find a solution instead of just complaining. What can be improved?Well, as always, everything.

But it is difficult to do it all at once.

I have perceived a lack of initiative from some municipalities, out of fear, or because they did not want to bypass the internal protocols of the parties to which they belong. It is always easier to hide behind the fact that there are no competences and shift responsibility to the higher body ...

The City Councils have been able and can do more things.

It is also true that the Autonomous Community can also do more and for the same reason.

Wanting is power and power is doing. What proposals are made and made by Social Responsibility Aguileña?Many, among them: The Creation of a Local Committee of Experts, obtain financing to fight against Covid through a restructuring of the local budget and voluntary donations, provide Tests at cost price, provide material to fight against Covid to freelancers and merchants of Eagles ...

etc  But never forget that if an Administration does not enter through taxes, it will not be able to offer solutions either. What do you think about the treatment of masks?  Regrettable.

First they were not mandatory, then yes, then simply recommended, then again mandatory, then in summer again simply recommended ...

etc.

We have gone through obligations and recommendations that have resulted in a lack of credibility of citizens in the face of this evolution in its obligation and restrictions.Do you think that people are responsible? Some more than others, but in a way we try each in our own way.

In part, I believe that it has been due to this lack of specific criteria in decision-making.

There have been many changes of criteria that make the population resign themselves to complying with the norm if they think that soon it will change again.Thank you very much for the interview with Murcia.com, if anyone wants to contact the Association, they can do so in the following way: Send proposals to: responsabilidadaguilas@gmail.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/responsabilidad.aguilas.1 Instagram: @responsabilidad_aguilasTLF: 692697446
