The number of unemployed registered in the Employment Office decreased by 47 people during the month of February from 2,394 in January to 2,347 in February, as reflected in the latest data published by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia SEF.
Data that are clear and reflect a downward trend.
In this sense, from the City Council they have remembered that, although it is true that the City Councils do not have competences in matters of job creation, what they can do is work to encourage it by offering businessmen who want to settle in the town all the necessary facilities by the local administration.
On the other hand, the number of affiliates has also registered very positive figures, with an increase of 364 contracts over the previous month.
These figures, they have concluded, "should motivate us to continue working on policies that result in work improvements for all the residents of Águilas."
