Last weekend the III UP Meeting of 2019 was held in the locality, an activity of the Association of Evangelical Baptist Churches of the Spanish Southeast that united 47 young people and teenagers in Águilas, in addition to the IEB (Evangelical Baptist Church) team and the UMMBE (Union of Baptist Missionary Women) of Águilas, who served as hosts.
The day began with a time of praise, mission and preaching workshop.
After the meal, which was held in the Social Hall of the Church of Eagles, the most playful part came with fun photos in a Photocall made for the occasion and a gymkhana along the Poniente beach, inspired by the travels of the apostle Paul.
The participants had to overcome arduous and fun tests that further strengthened their fraternal ties and taught them about the difficulties that missionaries face when they are going to preach the Gospel and help other countries.
The event ended with the delivery of diplomas by the Councilor for Youth, Juan Andrés Torres, to all participants and the winning teams of the gymkhana (there was a tie).
The next activity of the Eagles IEB, open to anyone who wants to participate, will be next November 23 at 6 pm in the White Park (Plaza Doctor Calero), which will consist of a party to collect the boxes of Operation Christmas Child.
