The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, recently visited, accompanied by the municipal veterinarian, Manuel Sansegundo, the facilities of Aguiproan, a non-profit association whose main objective is the protection and defense of animals.
During the tour of the protection, the first mayor pointed out "the important work that the volunteers are carrying out and that makes it possible for Águilas to have facilities in perfect condition that, in addition, improve day by day".
It should be noted that in the last year Aguiproan has carried out different actions that have allowed, among other things, the expansion of the veterinary area, the creation of an air-conditioned space for cats or the construction of new fences for animals to have more space.
Also, Moreno conveyed his congratulations to the president of Aguiproan for the significant increase in the number of adoptions.
