The square of Spain hosted yesterday the II Meeting of Corals at Christmas;
an initiative launched last year by the Department of Celebrations and Senior Citizens.
The Choir of the Association of Housewives was the first to go on stage.
After this group came the turn of the guest choir, this time the Day Center of Mazarrón.
The chorus Góspel de Águilas was the next to delight all the attendees with his brilliant performance.
It was followed by the Alma, Vida y Corazón Choir, which after the interpretation of a selection of Christmas carols, gave way to the Coral of the Municipal Center of the Third Age.
Finally, the Rociero de Águilas Choir, with a repertoire of flamenco carols, was in charge of closing the proceedings.
After the performances, which managed to start the applause of the entire audience, the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of the area, Encarna Navarro, gave the participating groups a reminder of their participation.
It should be noted that one of the surprises of the afternoon came from the hand of the Choir of the Third Age whose members decided to appoint godmother of honor to the mayor Encarna Navarro in recognition of the support provided for the creation of this choral group.
