The mayor of guilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, yesterday presented the I Route of the Belenes de guilas;
an initiative launched by the guilas City Council and the local nativity scene, represented by Hilario Gris, with the collaboration of the Association of Housewives of guilas.
During the ceremony, the mayor greatly appreciated "the work of people and institutions that for years work to keep alive the tradition of nativity scenes in the town and this year, in addition, have decided to open the doors of their homes so that all citizens can enjoy them. "
Moreno also expressed the desire that this Nativity scene route "be maintained over the next few years, adding to the traditional acts of Christmas in guilas", while inviting "all those people or institutions that make Nativity scenes to join it in the next editions. "
It should be noted that, although access to all the Nativity Scenes is totally free, two of them are charitable and they can be donated to Critas and Hogar Betania.
The City Council has published localization plans for each one of the Nativity Scenes included in this route, as well as the visiting hours.

Also in relation to this tradition of the Nativity scene, the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users will celebrate its traditional Nativity Scene Contest tomorrow at 7.30 pm at the Casa de la Cultura.
