Isabel Soler: "We can not agree with Mayor Mari Carmen Moreno who approves her budget in which she plunders the pockets of the aquilines and cuts back on social spending and investments for Águilas, but instead the game for photos goes up 20% as well as the expense to external companies that also grows ".

The spokesperson, Isabel Soler, stressed in the Plenary that throughout the term of Mayor Mari Carmen Moreno, we have seen how we pay more taxes, more taxes.

On the other hand, our industrialists have seen year after year how the items allocated to the Industrial Estate decline and what is worse, or even run, we have seen how one of the pillars of our economy, tourism, is reduced its departure for tourism promotion also year after year, and the residents of our districts and aquiline farmers miss investments in both districts and rural roads.

Soler emphasizes that all this contempt with the needs of the aquilines contrasts with the increase in the amount destined for advertising that goes up by 20% and the increase of 70,000 € uros for the collection of taxes, an expense that already goes for 780,000 € uros for something that has always been done by the City Council, by the officials and without any cost for the municipal coffers.

Soler adds that our athletes do not benefit either, as there is a further reduction in travel expenses for sports clubs, cuts in school games and, above all, the departure for investments in sports facilities disappears.

According to Soler, this lack of interest in the progress and well-being of all the aquilines shown by the socialist government team contrasts with the commitment made by the Regional Government of President Fernando López Miras allocating more than 2.6 million euros to social spending for aquilines, 4 million Euros for the construction of the High Resolution Center, and more than 800,000 euros for necessary investments in our town, among many other actions.

The Spokeswoman, Isabel Soler concludes, lamenting that this legislature of socialist government ends without any investment has been made in Águilas, nor have they managed to maintain in conditions the investments left by the previous Popular Party governments;

we have less services than at the beginning of the legislature and every time we have outsourced more services that has always been provided by the City Council by our officials.
