This morning the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno and the Councilor for Education, Cristóbal Casado visited the CEIP Las Lomas to collaborate and support the work of collecting toys that took place there.
This initiative has been originated by the idea of ​​some mothers of students of this center, in order to teach solidarity with other children who, due to their family situation, do not have the possibility of receiving gifts on these Christmas dates.
With a letter in which SSMM Los Reyes Magos de Oriente asked for collaboration under the slogan "recycle your toys", this morning each of the students of CEIP Las Lomas have brought to the center one or more toys that they no longer used so that other children can receive and use this Christmas with the same enthusiasm that they received in their day.
It has been a massive toy collection, in which a large number of toys that Cáritas Parroquial San José already has in its center have been collected to be able to give to the families most in need.
Initiative in which the children of the center have collaborated in the first place by donating their toys, the Department of Education of the City Council, Digigraph, Infoáguilas and Centro Papel.
