With the capacity of the House of Culture in full began yesterday the First Menopause Conference "brings life and color to your years", organized by the midwives of the Health Centers of Águilas with the collaboration of the Department of Health and the Murciano Health Service.
The inaugural day, chaired by the local mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, who attended the activity accompanied by the mayor of Health, Rosalía Casado, and other members of the municipal corporation, started with an interesting presentation by María Dolores García, matron of the CS Águilas Norte.
García addressed some of the myths and truths of that stage of a woman's life, offering advice to deal with it in a natural way.
On the other hand, the midwife Ángeles Carrasco focused her participation in the portfolio of services offered by the Spanish health system.
The scheduled activities will last until next Saturday, the date on which the closing of these days will be carried out with a healthy march that will cover the local promenade.
