This weekend, included in the program for the festivity of Santiago, there was an extraordinary departure from the titular image of the Brotherhood of the Apostle Santiago, María Santísima de la Amargura y Ánimas.

The procession, in which the image of the apostle was accompanied by the banners of the rest of Águilas brotherhoods, the Musical Association Virgen de los Dolores and the Musical Group of "Los Blancos" de Bullas, was preceded by a religious ceremony in which Juan Antonio Gómez renewed his position as Big Brother of the Brotherhood and recognized the effort that the squad of bearers and costaleros make year after year to take the images to the streets of the town.
