Making the cleaning of the locality more operational and effective is one of the objectives in which the Government Team works;
in this sense, and immersed in the bidding process of the service, the mayor of Service Provider Companies, council of which the cleaning service depends, Isabel Fernández;
and the Councilor for Finance, Tomás Consentino, attended yesterday the demonstration of a new machine for street cleaning work, specifically the urban motorized vacuum cleaner Glutton whose high power allows to vacuum any residue that is the operator on the road.
It is a totally electric, silent machine, which does not produce CO2 emissions and is very manageable, which, in addition to developing a much more effective cleaning than with the traditional sweeping method, considerably reduces the effort that the service operator must make.
On this matter, the mayor responsible for the area showed that "one of the conditions included in the bidding document of the road cleaning service is the renewal of the fleet of cleaning vehicles in the town, since the one that is currently in use has been totally obsolete, for that reason we are demanding demonstrations of different machines in order to assess the performance of them.
