The mayoress of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, yesterday received the seven athletes of the Antonio Mateos Sports Center who recently participated in the III Wushu Tournament, held last March in Cuenca.

The aquiline medalists, who obtained very good results in the competition, explained to Moreno the experience and details about the sport they practice.

Individual child category:

Álvaro Díaz Molina: 3rd in Long Weapon mode.

Paula Moreno Campos: 1st Long Weapon and 1st modality in Mano Vacía.

Manuel Mancebo Martínez: 1st in Mano Vacía mode and 2nd in short weapon mode.

Children's category group:

Paula Moreno Campos, Anahí Acosta Barcos and Jennifer Acosta Boats: 1st in Long Weapon mode.

Individual cadet category:

Jose Javier Zorrilla González: 1st in Arma Larga mode.

Nicola Vassilev Borissov: 3rd in Long Weapon mode.
