ADIA begins its cooking course with adult and children's workshops given by Juan Francisco Paredes, chef of El Refugio restaurant (10/05/2018)

The mayor of Águilas, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Health, Rosalía Casado, attended the inauguration of the Cooking Course organized by the Association of Diabetics of Eagles (ADIA) that throughout the month will be held at the Carlos III Institute .

The program, which this year is being taught by the chef of El Refugio restaurant, Juan Francisco Paredes, has in this edition, as a novelty, with a children's course in which the youngest children become chefs, elaborating different dishes and learning culinary techniques. ;

course that is added to that of adults who, also under the indications of Paredes, elaborate complete menus.

In parallel, information is provided on food, diets and other aspects of interest.

The president of the association, Yolanda Gallego, stressed the importance of this type of activities with which it is intended to show that it is possible to prepare varied and appetizing dishes adapted to the needs of diabetics.
